Why I’m Looking Forward to Microsoft Ignite

I’m heading to Microsoft Ignite in San Francisco this November, and I’m pretty pumped about it.

Day to day, I’m usually heads down fixing things, rolling stuff out, or just keeping everything moving. Getting out of that routine for a few days and being around people who are into the same tech will be a nice change.

There’s a ton going on right now with AI, security, and governance in the Microsoft world, and it all feels like it’s moving fast. I’m less interested in the polished demos and more curious about how people are actually using this stuff in the real world, what’s working, what’s not, and what’s worth paying attention to.

Hoping to come back with a few ideas we can actually use. Even one or two things that make life easier would be a win.

Also, half the reason to go is just to connect with people. If you’re going to be there, let’s grab coffee or meet up for happy hour. Always down to talk shop or just hang.

Should be a good few days.
